Jesus Centres are already making a big difference to the lives of many people.

The Bridge Drop-in continues to meet the needs of homeless and vulnerable people. 
Others come to groups such as Your Future offering short courses to enable people to expand their horizons, Your Space which provides a variety of social activities, or Explorers to discover spiritual life. 

 

As ever we try to meet the needs of those around us in a variety of ways. Talk English is helping people learning English to improve their ability to communicate, Aerobics is getting people fit and Making Choices has been helping people grow in Confidence. Re-Cycle bike repair scheme and Midweek Christian group have started this year too.

 

One heartening example of the difference the Jesus Centre can make in people’s lives is the homeless drug user who came to us three years ago.  He is now housed, drug free and employed as a caterer at the Centre, giving to those who need help now.

 

It’s all about helping people to make progress in their lives and to make more contribution to society. Together we do make a difference.
