Nigel, a Geordie, first came to the centre in 2005. He was homeless and depressed. Since then his life has been radically changed. He got a place through the Bridge Bond Scheme, became a Christian, had his crumbling knees healed through prayer (medically confirmed), was inducted as a volunteer, and is now employed by the centre as catering supervisor.
